Terms of Use

Agreement

By opening Alfalaki you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. The terms are short on purpose: this is a free, ad-free astrology reference, not a service with a contract, a subscription or an account behind it.

Using the site costs nothing, requires no registration and collects no email address. There is nothing to cancel and nothing to unsubscribe from.

What this site is

Alfalaki publishes astrology: planetary positions, natal charts, horoscopes, synastry and tarot interpretations. The astronomical layer is real — positions are computed from the VSOP87/ELP2000 ephemeris in your own browser. The interpretive layer is symbolic tradition, written by hand and offered in good faith.

Astrology is not a science, and we do not pretend otherwise. Nothing on this site is medical, psychological, legal, financial or professional advice. Do not make a decision about your health, your money or your safety because of a reading. For those questions the correct authority is a qualified professional, not a zodiac sign.

Accuracy and availability

We compute from published ephemeris data and we show our method. Even so, positions may differ from other sources in the arcminute, house systems differ by tradition, and a birth time rounded to the nearest hour changes the rising sign. Nothing here carries a warranty of any kind.

The site is served as static files over the network. It can be unavailable, and content can change or be corrected, without notice. We keep no obligation of uptime or of preserving any particular page.

Your content

Birth details you type into the natal chart form stay in your browser: the wheel is computed locally and nothing is sent to a server, stored or logged. There is therefore no account to delete and no chart history on our side — refreshing the page is the only cleanup that exists.

Intellectual property

The written interpretations, the plates, the interface and the code of this site belong to Alfalaki. You may read, quote and link freely; you may not republish the pages wholesale or use them to train commercial products without written permission.

Planetary positions themselves are astronomical facts and belong to nobody. The way we present them does.

Third parties

The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts and is served through Cloudflare. Daily horoscope pages may request a short text summary through our own server proxy. Those services see the request, as any web service does. They are covered by their own terms and privacy policies, not by ours.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Alfalaki is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site or from reliance on anything published on it. The readings are offered as symbolic interpretation, and you remain responsible for your own decisions.

If a clause here turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of the terms stand.

Changes and contact

These terms may be revised as the site grows; the date at the top shows the current version. Questions, corrections and permission requests go to houssam@alfalaki.space.
