Reading Your Own Natal Wheel in Ten Minutes
You do not need to memorize sixty symbols. Start with the three axes every chart has, and the wheel begins to speak on its own.
01
The three axes
Every chart is organized around three questions. The Sun–Moon axis: who you are versus what you need. The Ascendant–Descendant axis: how you appear versus what you seek in others. The MC–IC axis: your public work versus your private root. Locate those six points and the chart already has a skeleton.

Signs are style, planets are actors
The most common beginner error is treating signs as personalities. They are styles: Mars in Taurus and Mars in Gemini both want, both act — one deliberately, one verbally. Read planet first, sign second, house third. The planet says what; the sign says how; the house says where.

Let the wheel be round
Charts are drawn as circles because your life has no corners. When a cluster of planets gathers in one region, that hemisphere is where your story concentrates. Alfalaki renders the wheel in 3D precisely so these patterns pop out before any text does.
